Admissions Process:

We are now accepting applications for September 2009 - May 2010.

Because spaces are limited there is an admission process which includes a brief phone interview as well as an application which you can fill out and send below.

Playgroup For Friends Application Timeline:

Completed Application Form		Must be submitted on-line no later than June 30, 2009
Application Fee	$50*	Due no later than June 30, 2009
Deposit (if admitted)	$500*	Due no later than July 15, 2009 to reserve space
Remainder of Tuition Full Time Enrollment (Mon - Fri) Three Day Enrollment (Mon, Weds, Fri) Two Day Enrollment (Tues. and Thurs)	$3,000 $2,000 $1,800	Due no later than August 15, 2009
DC Child Health Form and Liability Waiver		Must be completed, signed, and returned to Playgroup For Friends before the start of the fall semester
		*Please note these are non-refundable fees.

 

All requirements of the The Playgroup For Friends enrollment process must be fulfilled before your child may attend, if accepted. (1) The on-line Playgroup For Friends Application for New Families must be completed and submitted to  Playgroup for Friends before the deadline. If your child is accepted, (2) payment of all fees must be made in full and on time, and (3) both a DC Child Health Form and a waiver of liability must be completed, signed and returned to Playgroup For Friends before the start of the fall semester. If you do not complete the requirements of the enrollment process by the dates specified, another child will be offered your child's place.

Please note that your on-line application will NOT be processed until Playgroup For Friends has received your application fee. Your non-refundable $50 application fee must be received no later than June 30, 2009. Please mail checks (noting your child's name) to:

In admitting new children every year Playgroup for Friends strives to achieve a balance of boys and girls, ages and developmental stages.

The Playgroup for Friends year runs from September to May. Applications to the Playgroup are made for the entire eight-month period; the playgroup does not offer admissions for either the fall or spring semester only.
